Dosh,
As a rough guide, in assessing whether a particular purchase is worthwhile, I always down grade by one grade and take 60% of that value to determine whether a note is worth purchasing.
The reason for this is that strictly uncirculated notes are difficult to come by, as there is usually evidence of teller flicks or other handling marks on paper notes.
Using the latest Mackas as a guide you have the following:
4 x $2 from circulation = $8 face value
1 x $2 Johnston Fraser aUNC x 60% = $6 x 0.6 = $3.60
3 x $1 Knight Stone aUNC x 60% = 3 x $10 x 0.6 = $18
2 x $1 Knight Stone aUNC x 60% = 2 x $12 x 0.6 = $15 (small allowance for consecutive)
3 x $1 Johnston Stone aUNC x 60% = 3 x $4 x 0.6 = $10 (small allowance for consecutive
1 x $1 Knight Wheeler aUNC x 60% = 1 x $25 x 0.6 = $15
6 x $1 Knight Stone aUNC x 60% = 6 x $10 x 0.6 = $36
1 x $1 Johnston Stone aUNC x 60% = 1 x $4 x 0.6 = $2
Grand Total $107
In other words, the asking price is about correct - whether you want these notes all depends on whether you need them for your collection - but don't expect to make a profit if you attempt to resell them soon.
Of course, this assumes that you have checked and they are NOT first or last prefixes on these notes.
My thoughts on the matter - take them at face value!
Cheers
