Wait, if I'm reading this right, you paid 15 cents for it?

Yes, I paid 15 cents for it (i pulled it out of a dealers foreign junk box). It still hasn't gone through the grading room yet though but hopefully NGC will grade and attribute it it by the end of the week. Regardless of whether its a 99/8, a 99, or a 98 I can't imagine it would grade at anything but a Poor details given that its pitted from corrosion and has no detail at all on the reverse

This is like one of those stories were someone finds a copy of the Declaration of Independence in a pile of magazines at a garage sale.

Want to double your money? I'll give you 30 cents, but only before the authenticity is determined ;-) After that I'll only offer 25 cents if it's 1798 and could go as high as 60 cents (quadruple your investment!) if it is 1799.

Im 100% sure its authentic, but I'm not sure at all what the date will end up being. If it ends up a 98 then it will likely be a wash once the grading fees are factored in I feel its worth it for a the chance at the 99 or 99/8
