This set of coins is currently up on ebay, with a starting price of $50,000. There are some great coins in this set!

I have included images of the coins below, just in case someone is looking these up, they will have more then a dead link for reference.

Does anyone else think that the 20 Cent coin is under graded, at a SP-64?

Nope look at it closely.............lacquered which is hiding some patchy hairlines and a face scratch. I will go with the TPG on this one.

The shipping cost is reasonable considering what you are buying.

If I was buying the set for $50,000, I would hope the seller would ship it for free.

Those are some mighty nice looking coins! Any mention of the fancy box they would have originally come in?

These are nice, but you will find even nicer ones in Sandy Campbell's cases... I think Sandy has most of the ex-Temple collection. The Bank of Canada Currency museum bought a couple pieces from the Temple collection, that the curator brought into my lab for testing with the XRF - maybe I'll share a few photos (if I can find them...).

no bids at 50k?

how accurate is this ask? the coins are stunning and rare but well beyond most collectors without getting a second mortgage. seems odd to sell it on ebay

I'm sure they listed in on ebay only for publicity.
