I am currently bidding on ebay for uncirculated and Proof Franklin half dollars to finish my date set. There are several listings featuring uncirculated and proof Franklins where the seller is holding the coin in the picture with their bare hands. I just looked at a Proof that the seller is holding and you can plainly see the fingerprint on this once beautiful and pristine coin. Just what I want to bid on a proof that has been handled by some dumbo!
