There is nothing canuck1us has said that makes him a "Trouble Maker". A dodgy ebay listing was spotted and we ALL do our best to get them removed, It's simply what we do to try and keep ebay free from scammers. If you removed the listing voluntarily, I thank you If the listing was removed by ebay, I thank them Either way a good result

Quote:i did not ignore it and post it big month if you read the time frame, and it has been remove by me from ebay, due to all the answer on here I would not sell it if its not real, you are rude! That's debatable. You obviously know it's not real. I don't know how to read the time frame, I'm very curious as to when the listing was posted. Strange how you ended the listing, but you added this... Quote: MAKE AN OFFER,OR give me your input ,.how did this happen? is it real or did some one do this?, I will be online allday so send me a message, thanks! Scammer...

All he is doing is drawing attention to himself. In a negative way. I wonder if his homemade silver ingots are really pure?

I'm willing to accept that you didn't know it was fake. This, however... That's BS. Mine has it too. That's what the memorial looks like, they're not going to change it and it hasn't been recalled. A warning to all the newbies... Don't buy from this guy!

Quote: and I remember you CANUCK!US you live in my area the "trouble maker" Almost seems rather threatening; although you appear to live in Ontario and I am in the southern United States. My point of linking to the other discussion is that it seems that your error claims in your ebay listings do not seem to be very well researched prior to you putting up an item for sale. You would be more credible if you heeded the advice and opinions on here or other knowledgeable sources before listing something on ebay that you weren't sure of. Apparently you didn't learn that lesson from your "recalled twenty" fiasco.

Kijijji2012 I feel that people here are getting agitated due to many factors. 1. This is not a group of people fond of others falsifying items in order to make a profit. 2. They protect others on this forum by giving them heads up on sketchy items. Usually found on ebay. 3. You just signed on looking for info to profit for yourself, not to contribute educationally to anyone here. 4. You ignored advice from some very brilliant people. 5. You called members here names for them being ethically responsible. This is why people are being rubbed the wrong way in my opinion.

Now that I have had my glass of wine, and calmed down to the point I don't want to wring one of my grad student's neck, I see a silver lining to this thread.
Those are excellent photos, of a very particular type of post-mint alteration. They could serve a purpose to educate those who are unfamiliar with such fabrications. kijiji2012, would you give permission to use those photos for educational purposes?
