Rob Becker New Member United States 7 Posts	Posted 01/08/2013 9:53 pm Hi there. Just wondering who might be out there doing this in Portland, Oregon or close by. Wondering what types of denomination you go for most and what kind of luck you're having with the Garda, Loomis, or Brinks rolls as well as what banks you frequent. I've been told by a couple of the branch vault tellers that Loomis and Garda cull out the silver in the dimes, quarters, and halves in this area. Hoping to find out if anyone is finding silver in any boxes in the Pacific Northwest. Ciao! Report this Post to the Staff
cmgiscool Valued Member United States 60 Posts	Posted 01/12/2013 12:44 am I've found some silver dimes on the other side of the cascsdes. Out of bank rolls but they were the clear wrapped kind. I have done one box of halves with uncirculateds being found but no silver popping up. I mostly do nickles and have had good luck with war nickles. I've had trouble with quarters but have only searched a box worth or less. Happy hunting! Report this Post to the Staff
