well I was looking around on ebay and saw this, hadn't seen anything like it...thought it looked strange, then saw the price....yikes.

anyone seen anything like it? is it a fake?

Just the way the metal looks, looks modern to me. I don't know what the coin is though, what it's supposed to imitate.

"modern" was my first thought also, here is a picture of a fake beelzlav coin from forumancient coins...it does at least look like a 10th century coin..

If type in the listing name into a search engine, you will see he has it for auction on numerous other coins sites (how do they allow it?).
