Curiously there is very little contemporary numismatic imagery on Hitler, and certainly none on circulated coins.

Somewhat surprising, considering the Nazi's efforts in the Ministry of Propaganda.

The Romans used coinage very effectively, when it comes to propaganda.

I believe that is due to the fact that the metal was needed elsewhere.
They did probably not want to do any propaganda with zinc or aluminium coins

I have also read somewhere long ago that Hitler did not want to release a coin with his head before the "Endsieg" was achieved.
So quite assuring that no real coin exists with his head.
