Yes
I sat on this for a long time and now that scope cam arrived, I can post

die scratch in the shield under LIBE

unfortunately, and according to Fortin's No. 107, the slightest amount of wear and anything not MS, rubs off the anomaly that reveals the 7/6 over date...i believe this coin to be EF

I'm researching type I vs II reverse now so any thoughts on that from the experts would be appreciated

I've also noted what I think is a broken "S" and "O" on the obverse

Hello,

The 'O' on the obverse appears to be formed as a result of a weak strike since if one looks closely at the top part of the supposedly broken part, it is covered with compacted foreign material(dirt/oil).

Also the following URL is not featuring the same exact coin from what I can tell but it is nonetheless informative and contains some of the previously discussed features:

A higher magnification photo of the date on dsfreeworld's coin would be nice to post if possible.

Thanks,

i agree mdp, at second glance and now that its not midnight, I can see that "O" is gunked over. From what I can tell the Breen 103 is not a scarcity but certainly a neat variety to come across

also, if you read the initial posting I would not be able to tell if this was ever the over date version, the slightest wear that takes this down from MS removes the anomaly so we'll never know if this is a Fortin 107
