Does This Penny Look Like It Has Been Cleaned?

Ravenzcoin Valued Member Canada 300 Posts	Posted 01/13/2013 10:12 pm I've been looking at this 1923 penny listing on ebay. It has a strange look to me and I wondered if it had been cleaned. Here is a link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/110998724662/ If it's not cleaned, any suggestions why it has such an odd color. Just an artifact of the photography? Jakedacc, I'm not so sure I have any instinct, but I do tend to be suspicious of any old pennies that aren't brown. But thanks for the kind words. By the way, I'm not trying to suggest the seller is cleaning them, as he lists many others that don't raise any warning flags.
