Daidumenianus
Thrace, Nikopolis

Diadumenianus-Nikopolis--->-With-Gtp!
Diadumenianus
Star and Moon

I don't have the width or weight...

Also, I want to see what you would pay for the three (just to comfort me... I know I got a good deal on the Carthage, but not sure about the other two)

Remember that the Alexander the Great coin was $20

Great reverse design. Too bad the obverse is so worn. I have always liked the coins from Nikopolis. Nice pick up though.

Its very cool!

Just to comfort me, what would you pay for this, the Alexander the Great and the Carthage coin?

Remembering that I am a bottom feeder, I would pay somewhere in the neighborhood of $60-$75 for all three. So that comes out to $20-$25 each. I hope this doesn't offend, but that is my honest assessment.

Definitely a nice coin. Let's see a photo of it. Sometimes they look different from the seller's photo.

Also, they were $150 Delivered for all three.

$115 on the Carthage coin (including shipping for all three)
$20 on the Macedon coin
$15 on this coin.

I probably overspent on this one, but got good deals on the other two...

Also, are there any catalogs for Roman Provincial coins?
If there are, I'd love to know the number for this coin so it can go into my spreadsheet.

And also, any dating on this coin? Also for my spreadsheet.

Hristova and Jekov - Moesia Inferior, Nicopolis ad Istrum - (not Thrace!)is one of the better references. It's die based as provincial roman coinage references need to be. This particular die combination isn't in their book. The general type is 8.22.48.5 (which is as close a reference as can be obtained from this) but the obverse die seems to be a match for 8.22.1.5-8. It could be an unknown die combination - nice find!
