I love collecting Germsn Sates coins especially Thalers. This is one of Friedr Wilhelm IV of Prussia and is a Vereinsthaler dated 1860. A Thaler has a value of about three Marks in later Empire coinage. I grade this coin extra fine, what do you think?

Beautiful coin! Looks like just a touch of wear on the jaw and on the hair above the ear. Really nice strike, IMHO it is XF or XF/AU.

By European grading standards, that's definitely a gEF coin. Possibly better, but that determination would need to be made in-hand, and I'm sure you're not giving it up.

Great coin!! The more I collect, the more fascinated I become with coins from the German states. I'd say that XF would be a very reasonable grade.
