I bought this 1921 Morgan last week for my Dansco 7070. I should have taken pictures before I put it in the album, they would have come out better. I believe thats a die crack running from the chin to the stars & then up through the P of Pluribus. This was a raw coin, looking for grade opinions.

Not bad. Mint State, I'd say, 63-ish. Definitely a die crack as you say, and the one running into the jaw nudges at my recollection for some reason. I'll have to look into it.

There are a couple other die cracks on the obverse, one through the 3 stars to the left of the date & then another along the top of "ribus". They are all pretty faint, I can just make them out without any magnification by tilting the coin just right. I bought this one raw also, the dealer didn't have anything on the 2x2, I'm guessing it's a 62-64. I'm just not confident enough to narrow it down any better than that.

I'm sorry, ever since you explained your nick I've had a hard time reading your posts without chuckling.

Radial die cracks around the stars/letters of 1921's are quite common. For that matter, so are cracks which run into the devices. This particular one rings a bell for me, but I don't remember why. There's nothing obvious on either face that strikes me as a particular VAM.
