To register your order for 2007 Sydney Harbour Bridge anniversary $1 coins struck on the portable press with "B" mintmark at the ANDA Brisbane Show on 25-27 May 2007 please go to

http://www.aussiecoins.net/forum/to...OPIC_ID=3677

You will need to be a member of the Aussie Forum before you can access the page. Brisbane members of the Aussie Forum get the coins for those outside Brisbane.

The B mintmark is stamped onto an already struck dollar coin by a portable press taken to the show by the Royal Australian Mint. These are referred to as Mint Your Own (MYO) or Portable Press coins because the public get to press the button to stamp the mintmark onto the coin. These coins differ slightly from the mass produced B mintmark coins struck at the Mint in Canberra where the B is already on the reverse die to strike the whole reverse face.

The Royal Australia Mint is quite evil I must say. Last time I was in the Easter show in Sydney, well suprise suprise! They are there and since I didn't have a S mintmark of the Harbour Bridge, I had to get it. The better reason is simply because I celebrated my new year on the Bridge. Not a bad way to market I must say!
