This coin is not in the best of shape, but I was wondering if you all thought I have the correct attribution.

The Max's are still a little confusing for me.

I have it as...

Maximinus-II-?
19mm, 2.0g

Maximinus II Daia as Caesar 305 - 306 A.D
MAXIMINVS NOB C, laureate head right.
GENIO POP-VLI ROMANI, Genius of the Roman people standing left, modius on head, patera in right, cornucopia in left, SIS in ex.

As always, comments are greatly appreciated.

Even with the wear it's still and interesting coin.

I think it may be one like this Galerius: http://wildwinds.com/coins/ric/gale...RIC_169b.jpg

Siscia RIC VI 169b Galerius AE Quarter Follis. MAXIMIANUS AVG, laureate head right / GENIO POPVLI ROMANI, Genius standing left, modius on head, holding cornucopia & patera, SIS in ex.

Can't make out if it's NOB or AVG.

i think bing is right, with the sis mint mark, and nothing in the left or right field of the reverse (unless it is fade?), I would go with this..

Galerius Maximian

MAXIMIANVS AVG
GENIO POP-VLI ROMANI
SIS
Siscia RIC VI Siscia 169b

I thought it looked like Maximinus II myself.

Both the Maximinus and Galerius seem to have 13 letters in the obverse legend.

This, and the wear on my coin, makes it difficult to tell. They are very similar coins.

Galerius. The legend is MAXIMIANVS not MAXIMINVS. Portrait is wrong for Maximianus so it is Galerius.

Agree with Bing, RIC VI 169b, Galerius, made just after he became Augustus.
