Commem. demand is down right now, but I was disappointed when I found a new, local coin shop is asking high premiums for its ungraded commems. Many of these coins are nearly impossible to find in honest circulated condition ... in particular circulated examples from the 'commemorative craze' of 1935 - 1939 are very difficult to come by. I am pursuing the circulated set ... have a few holes ... and as well have the patience to realize this is a lifetime pursuit while every day enjoying the satisfaction of the hunt. Agreed with the OP ... not many new coins to pursue in the recent months ... but somewhere out the is the next lowball ... just waiting to find it's new home with us few but dedicated collectors of circulated classic silver commemorative.
