Hi Guys,
Has anyone used this service?
I have read up on it, and thinking of using it for a few coins which have minor, minor pvc residue on them. Since I'm too much of a coward to touch them myself.

What I want to know is does the label show that the coin has been 'restored?" From what I have heard it doesn't. But if thats the case, then isn't that strange ?

Cheers

I believe its just like the NGC service where the label wont say anything. They wont use any methods that they dont allow you to use yourself before sending it in. Its like how acetone is fine but other stuff means a coin has been cleaned

BNL, there are people here who can (dont know if they will) walk you through the process. I've read some really knowedgeable posts regarding this topic. I've seen some scary ones, as well. Best bet is to take note of the pillars.

I would just add that if you do go the do it yourself route, practice first on some other coins of little to no value to get the hang of it
