Ok I have not found any coin shop that handles world coins in this part of the North Carolina(Raleigh ). So any pointers would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for any coin sops within 50 miles radius but would consider further depending how reputable they are.

Kinston here! All I can tell ya is good luck! There is a shop in Goldsboro, but his selection is so limited it would not be worth the drive. He might have around 100 or so non U.S. coins in the store. Also he has suspended weekend hours so you would have to get there during the week before 6pm.

Are you on Bob Reis' mailing list? He is the most into foreign of any of the local guys. He is in Raleigh and does mail order and auctions. Huge inventory.

I authenticate for Golden Isles and foreign is not big there.

The guys at the state fair grounds can have some bargains on foreign as well. NOT the guy in the long exhibition hall but in the smaller strip over by the ampitheater.

Tim/ Swamperbob, thank you for the response. I have also checked with Wakeforest coins as well but they don't have much either. I didn't feel the flea market guys have much to offer but. Well check again. In fact I am going to the coin show there this weekend. I didn't know about Bob Reis and definitely check him out.

You may have bump in to me if you went there in the afternoon :)
It was quite disappointing for me as there weren't many world silver crowns. Ones were in there for sale were overly pricy. The only excitement was a accidentally a gun going off in the gun show next to the coin show :) oh well I will g back browsing MA shop and vcoins.

PS: Bob Reis lists seems to have few reasonable crowns and thanks for that

Reis' auctions can be a bit better. But he does know his stuff so there are no super bargains.

Then again super bargains are usually forgeries.
