This is the last of the four "S" mint Morgans I'll be posting pics of tonight, although it will probably be first on the message list. What's your take? Thanks very much.

Hello Halfabustisbetter,
This Morgan has definite even wear over the cheek and light rub over the high points of Liberty's cap and on the cotton bolls. There is a fair amount of luster remaining in the protected areas within the obverse legend, but luster is mostly reduced in the fields. The strike is very solid. I grade it AU50. The reverse shows only a hint of wear over the talons and breast feathers. I'd give the reverse an AU53 or AU55, for an overall grade of AU50.

I can get on board with the grade, but frankly I'm worried about the originality of the surfaces. It seems, to me, a little too clean for the level of wear. That opinion's not set in stone, of course.
