So...

I just received from the Mint the 2012 Silver proof set. Waited since December for it and I must say its a BEAUTIFUL set with a very nice and what I would call elegant presentation, the casing is very beefy with a soft vinyl case flap cover (ima guessing its a stiff cardboard inside) that gets stored inside a box. When you hold this set in your hand, I mean it has some heft to it!

very very very nice set in my opinion. what I like about it is it includes a dime, half dollar and five quarters along with a proof American silver eagle! This set just is very beautiful it looks even better seeing it in person than what you see on the Mints web page.

Only one problem for me tho, as I was admiring my new set, someones long white hair is trapped inside the case lol. So, I am sending this one in and ordering another just so that they don't sell out. I think, as order gets out on the Internet about how nice this set is, they will sell out.

Again, IMO a great proof set from the mint, they hit a home run with this one. I hope they can do more of these in the future.

Finally, this is my first time owning a set of mint coins of this type. It really opens up my eyes to the beauty of these quarters wow the detail on the Hawaii volcanoes is just spectacular! It perks my interest now in this series lol
