You really picked up some nice coins. I especially like the 1830 Bust & the Standing Liberty quarter. How big is the local show?
Rest in Peace

A couple of beautiful Busties. This is why these are my favorite coins. The contrast between device and field does not get any better than this. Just beautiful! Congrats!!!!Mike

96 tables, and a bunch of dealers from all over the place. The local coin club sets up two shows per year, and dealer demand for tables is astounding. By the end of the show today, we'll probably have all tables reserved for the fall show.

The variety of items offered is pretty incredible, too. Tons of awesome US and Darkside coins and medals, and a lot of really nice currency this time, too.

Just checked out your profile & see you are in Albuquerque. My Dad was military & was stationed there for 5 years. I went to Eldorado High School, graduated in 79. Except for the wind it was one of the better places we lived. Bow hunting, trout fishing, massive flea market at the fair grounds every weekend, & of course the State Fair.

Very nice coins! I'd love to get some like that into my collection. Some day I'll be in the right place at the right time!

very, very nice....are you putting together a set of bust halves or they just compliment the rest of your collection? They are a great addition to anyone's portfolio of coins, congratulations.

Really nice!! My daughter collects these. It was fun looking for nicely toned bust halves together at the local coins shows when she was younger and still lived at home. She is a great negotiator and could get them for a good price.

I might put together a set of these. I'm not sure yet though. The 1820 is for my type set. I picked up the 1830 because I just liked it.
