Well Auldfartte, it looks like your collecting habits and mine are quite similar. The U.S. Large and Half series are tied neck and with my love of Bust Halves. Two great looking examples you have there! Great to find any examples without the granularity that plagues a lot of old copper! Thanks for sharing. Mike

Thanks, Mike. I appreciate the kind comments.

I do love the Large Cents, especially the Middle Dates. I've started a collection of those by variety. I doubt I'll ever finish it, though. It is incredibly hard to find LCs with nice planchets anymore. Very frustrating. I got lucky finding these two.

Bruce, I use John Wright's "The Cent Book". It's the best book on middle dates I've ever seen.
