Another one from the 5K hoard. Just cool to look at with limited value. Lamination loss and what appears to be a Grease Filled Die on the date too.

Funny.

I believe the date is 1949S maybe 1948S. I don't have the coin in hand. I was considering getting some Bondo and filling this unsightly hole. It could become another one of my 'restorations.'

You're taking this too seriously. Please tell me you didn't call Quincy? The date looks more like 1940 with some minor PMD or a 1946 with some minor PMD. Thanks for your effort.
