@falcon, do you have one yet? Although there isn't much to the design, suggest waiting till you see one in person before you make a decision. These coins usually look a bit different than the photos...

But..... its still a poor subject for a coin, you would think they would give up on the sport coins, no one ever buys them. Most have never sold more then a few thousand some only in the hundreds.

I'm actually OK with the design... although sport isn't my thing I find the layout pretty good. I'm surprised the picture hasn't been yanked by the RCM police yet. |

I agree. The design and theme are ok. Especially given that these are entry level coins meant to entice new collectors into the hobby. Twenty bucks is a pretty cheap gift to give to any hockey playing kids in your life who might be interested in coins.
Also considered the pic as possibly being offside except that at least one dealer has the same pic on his very public website.

@ Falcon... I couldn't agree more with your statement about the design and topic being a disappointment.
BUT for $20 in exchange for $20 of legal tender in silver I'm going to be buying as many as humanly possible (or that I can afford). Look at it this way, you get to invest in silver AT NO RISK (unless the coin is lost/stolen or something like that) and even if you decide to sell it in one year from now for $22... that's still a 10% profit and at least 5x as much as you would make having your money sitting in a regular, tax-free, or high interest savings account.
The other bonus is that you will be able to keep your collection complete!

I have the subscription for 3 coins from before...is this one included? If so, id like to call the RCM and change that subscription to 1 LOL |

RoyalSilver: Heard from other posters in other forums saying that you need to renew your subscription for this to kick in. Might need to call to confirm that

Yes it's a new subscription, and yes it will sell out. I just don't know when. 😈😎ðŸ'¹ðŸ'½I'm sure it'll take at least 33 days to sell out, maybe closer to 45 days.

I had to use alternate methods of getting the reindeer, apparently the subscription stopped at the penny. Won't make that mistake again.
