I've never heard of a doubled die on these before, it certainly is interesting to me!

Definitely a doubled die but I cannot tell you anything besides that fact. It looks like I have to go check mine now

It's like that on the whole obv. of the coin. I have another w/ a little less doubling. The doubling is very noticeable w/ a 2x.

Nice DDO! If you search the forum, you'll see more examples from Germany with strong doubling, even tripled dies.
