I was looking on ebay for Star Wars coins and I stumbled across this coin (or medallion, as the description had it). I decided to bid on it and low and behold I won! So the reason for this topic is for you guys to give me your thoughts on this coin and how I did. I won this coin for $2.99 + $2.00 shipping.

Nice medal!

If you like it and enjoy having it in your collection, $5.00 (including shipping) was a good deal.

doesn't look very official to me. I could be wrong buy lucas is such a control freak that I cant see getting an approval stamp

vader's eye has an extra triangle in it and the 2 jedi fighting are unrecognizable.

not to mention the jedi on the left looks like what appears to be a sword scabard on his hip...
someone should tell the chinese counterfeiters that light sabres dont need scabards.

I noticed that this is a older post but I stumbled upon it so here is my 2 bits.GOOD JOB! You took a chance on something you thought was cool and you did end up with a nice deal. I have one here now incased in plastic and these things are like any collectable. There is a huge Star Wars collectors base. Hang on to it if you want because you know these kind of items get hot with the next new Star Wars movie / show / or anniversary. Also for a bit of comfort it is an authentic Star Wars limited edition collectors coin made of bronze hope you get to read this . It's been a long while since you posted that message.

I did indeed get your message, and it gave me a vary big smile! Thank you for your insight and words of encouragement, this coin came in a padded plastic case, and I'll keep it that way. I may pass it on to another starwars fan and make a profit, or keep it for myself, because I'm a big starwars fan. Thanks again for authentication!

Oh and one more thing, Welcome to the Forums! I see this is your first post.
