I scored another VAM-1C that's a little different die state than the ones I have. These are the seller's pictures and the coin is en-route so I think it's safe to post. I'm hoping these pictures don't do it justice. We'll see when it arrives....

Wow. That's about as strong as you'll ever see a clashed "m." I love this VAM. My gut tells me you're going to see a decent 63 in-hand.

I'm fairly confident it's going to be MS in hand. You can't see it in these downsized photos, but the originals showed the planchet striations across the flat strike.

The other VAM1C2 I have actually looks like a triple clash with the wing die chip.

The VAM1C die pairs are my favorite at the moment.

I see a typical flat-strike New Orleans coin; the ear and adjacent hair were all I needed. Given the lighting and the look of the dark marks there, no way that coin has circulated. Guessing you'll see stronger clashing from the back of the cap in-hand, as well.
