There are six different obverse dies that have the broken N & M in Unum. Did you make sure and look at all six to make sure you have it attributed correctly. It is very easy to mis-attibute these. http://www.vamworld.com/1878-P+VAM-145

These are the 6 VAMs you will want to look at. # 40, 110, 162, 140, 145 & 200.

The VAM 145 is not that difficult to find and does not bring much on ebay unless the coin is AU or better.

Sounds like a lot of fun. I went to my first large coin show in Chicago a few months ago. I got to meet ANACs attributer John Roberts and a few other guys from VAMworld. I saw your thread on VAMworld, Brian Raines is really cool and very knowledgable about all kinds of coins. There is a VAM price guide that can be purchased from VAMs & More if you are needing pricing info for your coins http://vamsandmore.com/shop/NEW-201...e-Index.html Sometimes there is no info usually that happens when there have been no reported sales of that variety.

VAMs are not always easy to sell. I recently had a very rare one I just let go for well under the value it is worth but I needed the money. Silver has dropped almost half of what it was a few months ago. People are not spending a lot of money of them right now. They are probably loading up on all the cheap silver they can find. If you have a super rare coin I suggest holding onto it unless you need the money.

If you see Brian Raines, ask him to show you some of his doubled die foreign coins. You won't believe them.
