If you stack fractional gold, what are your favorite kinds to stack?
All I have right now is a few 1 oz pieces of gold. I am looking to start possibly some pesos, 1/10 oz gold coins, etc....hoping to find coins with lower premiums.
I am mainly a silver bug, like to add the occasional gold stuff.

For fractional gold I usually buy 1/10 and 1/4 AGE or 1/20 libertads. The premiums are pretty high but sometimes I can find deals. I'm mainly into silver also but I Like adding a little gold here and there.

Mexican fractional gold is usually the lowest premium I can find. I add these and gold eagles mostly.

Well, I wouldnt call myself a stacker. I do like to collect proof gold coins tho.
I stick mostly to 1 oz ones that are proof so Eagles, or Buffs. Its seem to me that the bigger the coin in terms of fracs the better the prem if you were to sell.
Most of the time I pick up small fracs, like say 1/10th oz but its only because thats the most common size I find readily available in proofs for say Britannias or Krugs.

The highest premium will def come from the dimes, if you can afford it go for the quarters.

I think 1/4oz gold coins are the perfect size balance for people who are trying not to pay too much of a premium, but want something smaller than 1oz. Maples and eagles in that size should be easy to find. If you prefer 24k over 22k maples fit that bill.

I was collecting (stacking) modern us commemorative gold in $5 and $10 sizes until prices started to skyrocket in 2008. At 90% and not even weight per ounce I found them hard to re sell with many dealers not interested or offering well below spot value.

I agree with Muddler. Those coms suck when it comes to resell value. And I would def stick to gold eagles over maple leafs esp in the USA. And though the premium on the dimes is uber high I have personally found it easy to get that premium back at resell. Now a coin shop won't give you a premium on the fractional gold but ebay and sells to other forum members will. I sometimes find 1/10 for spot plus like $10 at which time I always buy them but I can't see spending $200 on a tenth when gold is $1600.

When my LCS has them in stock, they sell Dos Pesos for under spot. I buy every one I can. No one else seems to want them I guess.

Are you open to the idea of bars? I find that for some reason the 10 gram Perth Mint seems to sell quite low in terms of premium. APMEX sells them for less then every other assayed 10 gram gold bar. Currently about $2.50 per gram over spot. It's also in the affordable range for most.
