Torontogoldbullion.com? I've been searching around for an online vendor to purchase from and so far the ones with good prices either have a high shipping fee or not enough selection. I want to try to stick with Canadian vendors because I don't want to run into any tax issues especially if a vendor ships via a courier. Btw, I recently had to request a refund from the CBSA. I was charged taxes on .999 silver bullion :S Haven't heard back yet and it's been a month. Anyway, Torontogoldbullion has pretty good prices on what I want and also a good selection. The only thing is I don't know much about them and haven't been able to find any reviews. If anyone has ever dealt with them, what was your experience like? I called them up recently regarding a 5 oz coin I was interested in and they told me they're actually sold out (not indicated on their site) and also that the price is wrong. That made me lose a little confidence in them

Be careful they barely have anything in stock. Last time I went in person they didn't have pandas or antelopes, even though the web site didn't say anything about them being out of stock. If you're not in a hurry I'm sure they're great. Just phone to inquire about stock.

Why not just order from the known places? Ordering online by itself makes me nervous let alone ordering from some hole in the wall dealer!

Berk, it sucks here in Canada. Havn't found on place good online for buying silver, either shipping or high prices. Thankfully, my LCS is good and I even support him more to do my part to ensure he stays in business. LCS is way cheaper than online.

I use silvergoldbull...Located in Canada. $20 flat rate shipping so its best to go in with an order of 10oz min but their stock is usually good, prices tend to be on the lower side, fast shipping and I have received amazing customer service.

Berk, I do but I haven't found many Canadian dealers that have the variety I want at the prices I want. I wish we had an APMEX equivalent here in Canada. Most of the US dealers use couriers to ship and I want to avoid the potential exorbitant fees.
Samsnate, I'll probably try buying from Silvergoldbull or Precious metal house when I can afford to make bigger purchases :) And I like that SGB takes paypal :D

Isn't Kitco based in Canada?

I love how silvergoldbull will price match, and they have an option to pay by bill payment, like paying a hydro bill with online banking.

Careful with kitco. If you are picky about the particular PM you are getting - as in say PAMP v.s. RCM - they are vague on what's available and will ship whatever they have when it's gold or larger silver bars. silvergoldbull's account is with RBC, so you do a fee-less within bank transfer. I believe you can have a bill-payment system set up with them using any of the major Canadian Banks, but I know that RBC and Scotia definitely works. I would advise against buying with Scotiabank. They will grill you with forms and swamp you with fees. Makes you feel like you're money laundering or something. A terrible experience (and one that is shared by 100% of those I talked to that went to Scotia)

Thanks for the advice! I like their prices, however I am not sure I'm ready to hit their minimums in a single purchase. If I do though, I'm glad I can do a bill payment instead of paying the credit card premium.
Cheers!
