Thought I might add this error to my war set--but the price is $1,000.00 at my LCS. I'll have to hit the lottery or buy a lesser-graded coin. Too bad.

A lot of local dealers will do that for regular customers.

I always find something to purchase with what funds that I have at the time...I am so weak...I can't seem to "save up"...if I need something I will try to sell something to get it!

I purchase from a couple of great Internet dealers who would do lay-away.

You never until you ask.

Or as an old friend once told me (about dating) "you are not afraid of her saying "no", you are afraid of her saying "yes", then you have to figure the rest out"

Take your camera next time, that sounds like a real winnah!

I should have known you all would say go for it. I know that the shop will do layaway. It looks as though you all think it's a good piece to get. I have to weigh getting this against a tougher-date Morgan. But it is a beautiful piece.

fioti, he has four of them--MS64, MS65, MS65 FS and MS66 FS. They're something. "Liberty" and "1942" are also doubled.

One time (not at band camp) I had a coin (don't remember which) on Lay-A-Way at my LCS and my wife would refer to "her" as my "mistress" when I would go and visit on weekends to put a payment down. I think that she was jealous...or just irritated that I would pay "her" so much attention. What my wife did not realize is that I had a little piece of "bling" on the same ticket for her. I think she got over that pretty quick.

oih82w8, Getting some bling for my wife would ease my guilt a little bit. I've been thinking about it.
fioti, I don't know what CONECA is.
