So I looked at my stats on my app, and since I have been keeping track with it I have done 140 dime rolls and only 4 silvers! that's less than 3 per 100 (0.0286 per on roll, to be more precise)

Seems like it's low. What are you guy's averages?

Also, feel free to post other ratios. I gave up on quarters for the most part since I never have found silver in them, though a teller did save me 2 and I found one in store given change.

Sadly anything over 2 is Excellent for me. Plan on many 0's though, it will be the trend

I average less than 1 silver per bank box of 50 rolls.

Same results for me. Less then one dime per bank box. Also shorted by counter at bank almost every time. Anywhere from one dime to 9 dimes. Machines count dimes like pennies sometimes. Every so often a non-silver Canadian dimes hits too.

To be more clear, I've had more than 2 silvers like twice. Out of about 50 boxes I'd say. Had 1 a bunch and been skunked more than anything. 2+ is certainly NOT my average. I could only wish to be that lucky.

My ratio is 1:$130. I've searched close to $130,000 in dimes.
I find one silver Canadian per about $1,500 in US.
I find one merc per about $1,700.
These averages really don't change between boxed and cwr dimes.

Wow, so it's not just me! Are people rydaling them or something? How come halves seem to be so much better for most people?

Bro, you haven't searched enough dimes to compile an accurate average. The averages I listed are over 5 years time. I roll hunted over 30 years ago during the Hunt bros. legacy. I'm finding more silver now than then.
Halves aren't all that. I find more silver hunting dimes, than I do searching the same amount in halves. Some areas are better than others, and have less hunting pressure.

Halves produce way better for me. I remember when, just 3 short years ago, I was averaging 2.5 keepers per box of dimes. I did $100k in dimes that year...

Yeah, I know those numbers are small, it just seems that I have really good lucky with CWR of halves, except the ones that I know are searched. I recognize local hunter names on half rolls.

Anyway, that's why I made this thread, to get numbers from people who have done a lot.

FTB, your numbers always astound me! Do you just side search? Even still how do you get through so much coinage? There are only so many hours is a day!
