Actauly got a silver quarter at the bank today. It was all black so they thought someone had taken a permanent marker to it and put it in their "mutilated" and foreign coins jar... I often ask for the foreign coins so I can give them to the kids to learn about. I didn't even notice what it was until I got home.

1959, was caribou up on the counter so I agreed with the "black marker" theory. I've only personally come across about half a dozen silver quarters.

We search through at least 2000 quarters every week, and thousands of dimes, and we may find one silver coin out of that bunch. So, where are they all?
