Picked these up today locally from a guy on ebay. Glad to add them to the stash of RCM bars, personally wish the RCM still made these over the maples.

Very Nice. I love the RCM bars. What kind of premium did you pay for these?

I picked this 1 up from the same seller during the same grouping of auctions... I like that its in great shape and a fairly low serial as well. The OP picked up the other one I wanted but didn't have the money yet to shoot for it. All well, Just excited to get one finally!

Can anyone here tell me when they minted these? Don't know a lot about them.

All I know is that these were what the Canadian mint made before maples. First maple 1988...so before 1988. I have searched very hard to find ANY information about RCM bars like these and It just cant be found. Mintages, the die process, exact years of minting....heck aside from the fact that we own some...you wouldnt even know they existed.

extruded or poured, likely, so stamped and engraved, no die

I used the word die process due to lack of better term to use. :-) But still boils down to the same thing....cant find info
