I think if the Euro collapsed, we'd see the 'new franc' & 'new guilder' and anything pre-euro would not be retained in a new money system.

To sidetrack a little, I remember when a regular crown was face value 25p and now they are face value £5, which for me is basically just a Royal Mint rip off for the non silver ones. Mind you seems like the RM releases a commerative issue at the drop of a hat these days which may be why Spink are thinking of putting the decimals into their own coins book, seperate from the proper coins, but relented in 2013. What do you think guys.

I think Spink are going to do that next year, personally I like an all in one book. I bet you the price doesn't drop either!
