Hi,
I have this coin which I believe is Roman.
I have been told it is Constantine the Great and also it may be commemorative coin of his.
I would be grateful for any comments.
Sorry about the quality of the pic.

So the obverse is a bust, but it actually represents a city rather than the face of an emperor?

With the star in the left field and judging from the style it is likely minted at Arles, PCONST in exergue.

To me the busts on commemoratives often look masculine but they represent the city personifications of Constantinople,(victory on prow) or Rome (wolf and twins) and are feminine.

I had a look at the site and it is fascinating. I even started to learn about which way Victory was moving !
And saw the oars.
Have you any idea what these sort of coins are worth?

An AE3.
It commemorates the Battle of the Hellespont and the founding of Constantinople by Constantine I, issued from around 330 - 340 AD.

Being an Official Issue, it ought to be around $10 to buy.
If it has any original silvering, then it is a lot more in value.
