Here's a pic of a coin that shows the diamonds well. I circled them.

And my first thought was VF35 but I wouldn't argue XF40. The feather tips are really nice, like a xf45 coin, but the ribbon brings the grade down a tad (IMO)

This coin grades XF.45. It has four diamonds and strong Liberty but glare of the coin makes it hard to see.

I don't even see here a XF40. Probably VF30-35.

VF35, slightly too much wear to make 40 imo.

Solotime-Grading is not an exact science. If you check any of the other posts on coins grading seldom will see you everyone agree on a grade. It is subject to human interpretation.

@beaglebailey, well I learn to tell if they are AU now.. I think the photo is a little bad. I know the coin has wear but I couldn't see the wear that good because the coins small. I will look at it in real life. I do have some others in Fine, and VF, ones I bought off my dealer. I got this 1908 in a bag of wheat cents.

@ Shafta... I agree with beaglebailey...when I saw the coin I waffled between 35 and 40. I called it 40 because I thought the reverse was a bit nicer than 35...
