i asked the agent how many CP carry... he said a lot.....if it is true, I guess the mint will screw up its release to the public again....

The postal outlets are already not taking orders as their allotmnent is sold out. Master Members have their share, dealers have their share, How many will be left anyway? Edited by MoneyPenney

30000 is quite a lot... but from the other hand, 20for20 series mintage is 250000 and they sell out ~within a month of going public.

The CP agent told me that RCM will ship these coins to CP on February 22nd, 2013 and CP will ship these coins to customers in March. It seems different agents have different shipping schedule. |

I think people who placed order for the 2nd through this channel, should "Thank You!" a294310.
He is a RFDer who kindly provides this information.
Many CC members are also join RFD. I am pretty sad that they said we hate them.

Glad to hear that CP is putting a limit of 5 on this coin. Otherwise, it would be tough to order if a small handful of people buy a ton of them! Would be interesting to know the quota or percentage of coins that the Mint allocates to CP for this type of coin... anyone know (approximately)?

Thanks BiBo. So approximately 15000/25000 = .60 or less than 60%... even 50% would seem like quite a high percentage for CP..?

My guess is 5-7000 for the Post Office. 10,000 is pushing it. No way 15,000 because the Mint got to allocate to coin dealers, MC members, and other customers of the Mint. And there are a lot of them across Canada. The big dealers want as many hot coins as they can get.
