Hi folks ... just wondering if I could get a little direction from the seasoned collectors. I recently received 15 consecutive serial numbered $100.00 US bills from my bank ..... they are all star notes. Series 2006 (A) The serial numbers run from KF01233636 * - KF01233650 *. I would consider them crisp uncirculated with a little crinkle in one corner of the last one.

Just wondering if these have any value other than face value. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards.

Im no expert, but but star notes generally have to have a rare run size, under 640,000 to have a premium. Your would be from a run of 3,200,000

At some past coin shows I've seen them sell from $150-300 even with a high run. I felt like they were over priced but still hold some value over face.

If you want to put in the work then you can probably find someone to pay $110 to $115 per note, but it is a tough sell.

Golden Chest, Voshus007 & nationals:
Thanks so much for the replies.
I was just shocked when I saw the star notes and more so when they were consecutive.
It is a lot of money to keep tied up - perhaps I might check with a coin shop to see if they are even interested. I tried to check ebay to see if there were any comparisons, but didn't see much. So thanks again for all your advice. Very much appreciated.
