I have to disagree with what the more experienced collectors have said and say I see nothing that would indicate to me that this coin is fake. It's aways difficult to say with just a picture to go by and the soapy appearance can just be caused by the light where the picture was taken. The overall appearance of the coin looks correct and it does not appear to be cast IMO.

i have been collecting for six months and work to a strict budget if this by a miracle proves to be authentic it will be a jewel and cherished very very much I am doing lots of research and learning as I go fingers crossed that it turns out good something that helps is that although I have no experience with fakes the collection it came from of 140 coins I expect that the collector must have had more experience than myself and therefore I do hope it would have been sussed by this person thankyou all for your great help in this very difficult assessment

I have made a point of learning as much as I can about fakes and their manufacture and how to spot them over the years. I am one of the admins on the Fake reports over at Forum and have personally added over 2,000 of the fake reports there. I only mention this to put my comments into some context. I am not someone who calls a coin a fake lightly.
Based on the images alone I would not touch this coin. It shows all the signs of being a modern sand cast. None of the details are sharp. Everything is too soft. This is not down to lighting. It could be down to other factors but I do not believe this to be the case and as such would not take the chance on this one and would wait for another cion on another day.

The last two images are the best. Based on these more natural looking pictures I have to reverse my first impression and agree with the others.

It's up to you, but if it were mine I'd leave it alone. Whatever metal it is it has no real value as a fake coin.
