I think it's a keeper It maybe grades out at xf+, but I will add it to my slowly increasing VAM collection. and...to think I did not know what a VAM was before joining CCF,lol. VAM-8 is defined by the doubling shown in RK55's images - the rays of the tiara, the D, W, E and T in "IN GOD WE TRVST," and the horizontal bar of the L in LIBERTY. Your coin would need to have the identical features to be a VAM-8. Report this Post to the Staff

My grandfather gave me a 1885 Morgan on day I was born and the Peace dollar on my first birthday and I'm 56 years old. My grandfather collected coins and Indian artifacts . My coin is I believe in slightly better condition than the one in thread . Both coins have been put away my entire life and I get them out and look at them now and then Report this Post to the Staff
