So, I just had to do an inventory for jfransch of my
Wheat cent collection. Please keep in mind that I'm collecting this strictly from circulation--it's all CRH at work, minus the following exceptions:
--My 1909 VDB, 1910, 1911 are gifts from jeffrose.
--My 1943 D/S were part of a child-from-the-60s collection I purchased from my old boss (all of the other Lincolns I bought in that set were shockingly worn, given when they were collected, and with the exception of one in the 1920s--I forget which one--have been upgraded from modern circulation).
--My 1943 is an upgrade from the one purchased in that child set, and was a "bonus coin" sent to me by my
ebay dealer.
--My 1957 and 1958 are very, very pretty upgrades from jeffrose; I obtained both of these from circulation, but he sent me a pair of reds. Obviously AU red trumps XF brown.
