You gotta love those rainbow's. Yes, I know it's not going to pay for a gallon of gas but she's nice to look at. I was cleaning up the shop before closing and this was laying on the floor by the exit. It stood out like a really sore thumb. I love finding these toners and the price was right. I got like 50 of them. But it's always nice to have more. But great find! And you're right, a copper one would be better.

Cool! I have a nice 1964 rainbow. I had another one but I don't remember what happened to it.

very nice... but I wonder where it gets the tone from...
I have seen similar tones, when somebody tries to clean coins with concentrated soap or acid.. and that gives bizzare coloring to the coin..

kaubhai, I believe the air causes it. Somehow...
Maybe because of the environment the coin is in.

Rainbow toning is very delicate. This coin needs airtight storage.
