If it has good cartwheel in hand, I would say MS-62

The details are close to UNC. Reverse scratches and fingerprint on the obverse would likely result in an AU Details grade.

MS62 or 63. I 'm guessing the scratches at the legend are on the die and not the coin.

Fascinating coin. I haven't weighed in yet because I've been poring over everything I can find about 1921-S varieties. In vain, so far.
Strongly-struck (for a 1921-S), relatively fresh dies, very nice surfaces. There is (to the extent I can find) no 1921-S known with the scratches through IGWT and ONE DOLLAR. This one really deserves an in-depth examination.

You know I didn't even bother yet to look at the VAMs on this one yet, was focusing on couple other coins cause I figured 1921 and scribbles were gonna take a while but now that you say it gonna focus my attention on this one Thanks SsuperDdave

Scribbles come first, unfortunately. If you can get an accurate image to post, all the better so we can help; if not, good luck.

I could find nothing with reference to scratches around the motto either in my reference stuff, I do NOT have much on the 1921 dollars, but this one could be a good one!

Quite frankly, I don't think they're going to slab it unless they look very closely at those scratches. Furthermore, they only attribute 1921-S Thornheads and the 6A/6B types. If you are absolutely sure those scratches are from the die and not postmint, see if you can get them to do a True View image of it unless you can create images of that quality in-house.
