Well, I just received my introductory set of 66 state, territory, & ATB Quarters from Littleton. They were purchased at face value of 16.50 and included a set of all four 2009 LHCs. Along for the ride from New Hampshire were: - Uncirculated 2003 P&D Kennedy halves ($7.95) - Uncirculated 2012D Dollar ($2.95) - 1937 Buffalo nickel ($4.75) - 1943 Dime ($11.25) If I act now, I can purchase all four and save! *Only* $19.96 for all four coins. What a bargain... Needless to say, those coins are heading back for the coast. I was very pleased to get all of the quarters at face value, however!

When it comes to Littleton, their promo deals are the only way to fly. Send the rest back and tell them ixnay on the coins on approval bull. You can do several of the promo deals before they cut you off. When they cut me off, I just did it in my wife and kids names. Then my parents... the dog's names are next.

I ordered the quarters too and got the special coins as well. I sent them back and kept the quarters for my grandsons birthday. Their deals are really the only way to go. In case you haven't seen it, here's a webpage with a bunch of codes: http://www.retailmenot.com/view/littletoncoin.com

I did see that website and thought about getting the Presidential dollars at face value (I haven't been collecting those to date). Then I got thinking, maybe I'll just wait until the series is over and Littleton will probably sell the whole set via coupon at face value.

Cheezy,
Why not get them now, just in case they don't do them later. It's possible that they may do the full set later, but improbable. And you can't beat face value right now. Littleton lets you get 4 or 5 of their teaser deals before they send you an official "buy something for real because you're cut off from the special deals" letter.

I had thought about doing the LCC 1999-2012 quarter deal but had just ordered the 2012 Presidential dollars and didn't think the order would fly. I may try it afterall. I will let you know how it goes.

Quote: Why not get them now, just in case they don't do them later. Well, I figure if I get them now, I'd be stuck paying $1.50-$2.00 each for all of the not-yet-released Presidential dollars. But, I guess it's a good point... when I'm only buying one from my LCS every three months, the premium isn't really that big of a deal... Hmmm.

Do you have to pay for return shipping on the other 4 coins?

Quote: didn't think the order would fly They'll let you do more than 1...I've done 4 so far. Apparently they'll be stopping me soon but why not get the deals that are offered.

I have heard horror stories about them. I read other forums about how they run their company and have always been afraid to order from them. Hmmm maybe I will give them a try soon.

They've been very good to me so far. I've called them a few times and they have been very nice and helpful. They even let me order the quarters special twice. When they send you the trial coins, they also send a return envelope. Just put them in there and send them back. It's very easy to do.

http://www.littletoncoin.com/Basically their normal prices are way too much but they offer specials to try to get you to buy the more expensive stuff. It's the specials we are talking about. HTH
