how do you add a best offer option for a fixed price listing? I don't see it anywhere.

You have to use the advanced listing tool to use that unless I'm missing something on the other one. There will be a box you click to add that once youre in the advanced

I thought you had to have a proper ebay store to be able to add that option?

No need for an ebay store. On the Fixed Price listing tab, there is a check box right beneath where you insert the Buy It Now price. Once you check that box it opens up further for the Best Offer option.

how do you use the advanced listing tool? There is no check box by my fixed price. There is literally nowhere to add a best offer option, unless I list it as an auction...

While youre making the listing there should be a link for the advanced tool in the top right corner

What about if the listing is already made? I tried searching for it while I was making one, but still didn't see it.

I figured it out but I had to remake a whole new listing. So I had to pay another insertion fee. All well. Thanks for the help guys.

You can revise an active listing to add the 'Best Offer' option the same way. I know that at some point, maybe within 24 hours of the listing ending, that option goes away and you're stuck with what you have.

For some reason I couldn't. I checked several times and I created the listing last night. But then I created a new listing and was able to. Not sure why that happened.

I think its actually set up so you cant add a best offer if you didnt initially have it, its never let me add that later either

I just checked one of my current listings that I have set up as just BIN. I am able to revise and add the 'Best Offer' option if I want. I don't have a store or anything like that, so I'm not sure why anyone else wouldn't be able to.

Crow check one that doesn't have the best offer, I've had the problems personally for the ones without it that I've tried to add it too

Yes, I can add the best offer option even when the original listing didn't have it.

Although, I do remember a few listings a while ago that I couldn't change the options on, but I thought it was because they were too close to ending. That didn't seem to be the case for murrellington, so I'm not sure.

Hmmm maybe it does take it away after the listing has been up so long. Heck could just be the system being glitchy.
