My first coins arrived yesterday, finally got a chance to take a look at them this morning. I am exciting since some look like they will clean up very nicely. I think I may be hooked. I can tell this first lot will test my patience since I am really excited to start.

Very very nice lot - a radiate looking one in there and an older looking one to boot. Where'd you get them from?

I got them from Ras at Dirtyoldcoins. He may have given me a couple better ones as a sorry because he accidentaly forgot to ship my order. His system doesn't like Canadian addresses so I had to order them via e-mail and it just slipped his mind. He was incredibly helpful the entire time and you can't blame someone for something slipping their mind it has happened to all of us.
@masis I know but I am a little giddy having studied all of these emperors for my degree. I just have to make sure I feed my coffee addiction to keep away the shakes whenever I brush them.

Looks like you got some nice coins, that will clean up nicely. Ras usually's has desent unclean coins. Don't forget to post pictures once they are cleaned.

I will for sure keep you all up to date. They are currently taking a nice bath in some distilled water. The coin on the top right looks like it will clean a lot nicer than I expected the details on the reverse appeared clearer in the water.
Also does anyone know a good source for desert patina coins? I mean I do like the green patina but there is just something about the desert patina that draws me too it every time.

The top right coin may prove to be quite interesting.
I like all three on the top row. The one in the middle will be like opening a Christmas present.

Doucet - I really don't know what to expected from that middle one it definitely had the most dirt of the 10.
chrsmat - Thanks! It is getting hard to resist buying more coins right now but with that stupid "holiday" this week the funds have been diverted elsewhere. Let's just say she isn't the biggest fan of coins.
