the cent actually has 7 as there is one in between the D of Canada and another in the N of the cent
plus the crack in the :IMP:

Nice! I love a good die crack/set of die cracks on a coin. The war years and just after really produced some spectacular ones. I think they must have used the dies longer at that period, or else the dies weren't made of quite the same composition as in later years because the proliferation of cracks and die progressions seem so much greater. Love that 1943 penny!
