Anyone knows the story behind the 1886 cc?
Are there any genuine ones?

Are you talking about Morgan dollars? If so, there are not any genuine ones that I'm aware of. Morgans were not minted in Carson City that year.

The only 1886 CC Morgans ever made, were made in China.

Here, cc stands for "Chinese Cities". LOL

Be careful to buy anything on the street in China.

Due to your location, you are going to have to be extra careful in your coin purchases. Many US coins (silver dollars especially) have been copied in China. This is legal in China as it is considered "art". Unfortunately, these "coins" are then being sold as genuine. You will see these on ebay all the time and I'm sure you see them quite often where you are.

If you purchase on the internet, you also need to be cautious. Many of these fantasy pieces have been sold to US buyers as genuine coins and, in turn, are now being sold out of the US (and other countries).

In discussing the coins that you already have, it is going to be very important for you to post pictures. We have a member here who not only is an expert on identifying counterfeits, he often can tell you exactly when and where they were made.

Keep in mind that some of these are not modern Chinese fantasy pieces. There were also contemporary counterfeits that actually have some value to them.

For the chinese fakes, I don't know whether they are legal even in China. They are more or less not illegal or not regulation at all for forreign coins (?). My parents told me that there are counterfeits of the cirulating one Yen in the market places. One yen is only about 12 US cents and about the size of US quarters (made in steel, I think). You can see how cheap the labor cost it is in China to make counterfeit one Yen as profitable. Anything cost over one hundred yen, I will be very careful.

In this case "Chinese Counterfeit" = CC
