Hello collectors,

I bought this coin from top rated seller - but now his account is canceled for selling fake coins. Can you tell me if this coin is original?

Akimm to The Forum! I also and the weight appears to be consistent with a coin in this grade. In Mintstate, it would be 5.81 grams.

The pictures are a bit fuzzy (and so are my eyes!) but I would guess an Obv 4 SBE (Short Bough Ends). Maybe a G6 (some may call it a VG8). Would need a close up of the last 6 in the date to see if it's a regular Plain 6 or one of the 6/6 varieties. See http://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins...ts-1870-1901 .

Could be a 6/6-1. Seems the closest match but the shape of the knob seems just a bit funny so I wouldn't want to commit to it. Definitely not a 6/6-2.
